Sis Michelle Taylor

sis michelle taylorHi, my name is Michelle Taylor. I was born and raised in Paducah KY. I live in a very small town called Possum Trot, Ky. Just right past Paducah. I am married to Keith Taylor and together we Pastor Holy House of Prayer Pentecostal Church in Paducah KY. We have 7 children and 11 grandchildren (3 of which were born this year). I am a piano player, singer, and adult Sunday School teacher. I love to craft and find new and cheap ways to make things for others. I am passionate about my Lord and Savior and am trying to reach as many as I can for the Kingdom. I was saved as a young girl of 8 years old and filled with the Holy Ghost at Sunset Hills Youth Camp when I was 12. I started drawing and painting when I was young after seeing what all my dad could draw. Over the years I have ventured out into other crafting avenues. I attended FGBI where I learned how to budget my money, combat the enemy, and study God’s Word. It has really helped me down through the years. I am a Martha with a longing to have the heart of Mary. I love serving others. It gives me my greatest joy to give to others. And just like others I can get caught up in that so I am always striving to pursue a better relationship with the Lord.

They thought the toddler years were rough and then the kids became teenagers all at once. “Boy, those were some fun times! The days are long but the years are short and I wouldn’t trade a single moment of it.”

She’s now added Mammaw to her list of titles with 11 grandchildren and counting. She’s always been a busy person so when the next became empty she quickly found soap making to occupy her time. What started as a hobby turned into a business venture she had never imagined for herself. The teacher in her loves sharing with others ways to be more efficient in homemaking.  She says, “Of all my titles–wife, Mom, Mammaw, teacher, friend–Child of God is most important.
